- Born: January 1872
- 1891: Received Bachelor's degree from Madras Christian College
- 1893: Returned to Palghat to take a position as Headmaster of high school
- Began service at Government College at Kumbakonam as lecturer
- Became mathematics instructor to Srinivasa Aiyangar Ramanujan for one year
- Joined Presidency College in Madras as a lecturer for 15 years
- Became Professor of Applied Mathematics
- Returned to Kumbakonam to become Principal of Government College
- One of the original members of Indian Mathematical Society
- Served as Secretary and President of Indian Mathematical Society
- Died: October 1935
