Definition:Biconnected Set

Definition

Let $T = \struct {S, \tau}$ be a topological space.

Let $H \subseteq S$ be a connected set in $T$.

Then $H$ is biconnected if and only if it is not the union of two disjoint non-degenerate connected sets.
