## Definition

Data which can be described with a continuous variable are known as **continuous data**.

## Examples

### Height of Students

The height $H$ of each of $100$ university students is an example of **continuous data**.

### Temperatures Recorded

The temperatures recorded every half hour at a weather bureau is an example of **continuous data**.

### Lifetimes of TV Tubes

The lifetimes of television tubes produced by a company is an example of **continuous data**.

### Lengths of Bolts

The lengths of $1000$ bolts produced in a factory is an example of **continuous data**.
