Definition
Data which can be described with a continuous variable obtained by the process of measurement are known as continuous data.
Examples
Height of Students
The height $H$ of each of $100$ university students is an example of continuous data.
Temperatures Recorded
The temperatures recorded every half hour at a weather bureau is an example of continuous data.
Lifetimes of TV Tubes
The lifetimes of television tubes produced by a company is an example of continuous data.
Lengths of Bolts
The lengths of $1000$ bolts produced in a factory is an example of continuous data.
