Linguistic Note on Enneahedron
The word enneahedron derives from the Classical Greek δεκαεδρόν:
- ennea (ἐννέα), meaning nine
- hedron (a form of ἕδρα), meaning base or seat.
The technically correct plural of enneahedron is enneahedra, but the word enneahedrons can often be found.
