Definition

A pentahedron is a polyhedron which has $5$ faces.

Linguistic Note

The word pentahedron derives from the Classical Greek:

pente (πέντε), meaning five
hedron (a form of ἕδρα), meaning base or seat.

The technically correct plural of pentahedron is pentahedra, but the word pentahedrons can often be found.
