Technical Note for Stirling Numbers of the Second Kind
The $\LaTeX$ code for \(\ds {n \brace k}\) is \ds {n \brace k}
.
The braces around the n \brace k
are important.
The \ds
is needed to create the symbol in its proper house display style.
Note that while it appears that \ds \set {n \atop k}
should do the same job, it is rendered with a subtle difference:
- $\ds \set {n \atop k}$
and so is not recommended on $\mathsf{Pr} \infty \mathsf{fWiki}$.
