Wikipedia says that the Bayesian model is a probability measure only if you add some axioms to make it such. Anyone have such a scholarly source for this, and the exact formulation of the axioms? Couldn't find one in my school library. --GFauxPas 13:40, 23 December 2011 (CST)

Possibly, if I dig through my own collection. Mind, I'm thin on prob/stats. Don't wait up ... --prime mover 16:32, 23 December 2011 (CST)
Found some. It's too advanced for me but I'll put a link here in case someone wants to tackle it, eventually. new axioms for rigorous bayesian probability --GFauxPas 11:26, 13 January 2012 (EST)
2014: Christopher Clapham and James Nicholson: The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Mathematics (5th ed.): Bayesian says:
An approach where a prior distribution is modified in the light of outcomes of an experiment.
Work still needed to establish what this means. --prime mover (talk) 02:28, 17 August 2019 (EDT)
