In the definition of dimension for Vector Space, I removed the word "minimum" because from the proof given, all bases have the same number of elements. --prime mover (talk) 07:19, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

'Dimension' is also defined here. Should pages in the differential geometry referring to dimension link there? --Geometry dude (talk) 15:50, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

If they mean the same thing, and are based on the same concept (i.e. a "differentiable manifold" is defined in some object derived at least conceptually from concepts raised in linear algebra) then certainly. My naive view is that I think they are, and I think it ought, but I am un-knowledgeable in this area. --prime mover (talk) 16:24, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
