Definition talk:Hausdorff-Besicovitch Dimension

Concerning the name, from an earlier edit by User:Usagiop:

"This is also called Hausdorff-Besicovitch dimension."

So I did my research, worked out who Besicovitch is, added him to the database, and implemented his name into the title of the definition.

I presume User:Usagiop must have got that nugget of information from somewhere.

Because of the significant technical advances made by Abram Samoilovitch Besicovitch allowing computation of dimensions for highly irregular or "rough" sets, this dimension is also commonly referred to as the Hausdorff–Besicovitch dimension.
