Question: this is the same definition as Definition:Partial Derivative/Function on Real Vector Space (which belongs here by the way); because that's just the definition of the derivative $g'$. Is it worth creating two definitions for? --barto (talk) 12:36, 6 August 2017 (EDT)

"Belongs here" -- I mean at Definition:Partial Derivative/Real Analysis. --barto (talk) 12:40, 6 August 2017 (EDT)

Difficult to say, because I'm not sure what direction either you or GFauxPas are intending to take this. --prime mover (talk) 13:02, 6 August 2017 (EDT)
No direction, just adding the missing definitions. I will put both definitions, despite the fact that they are so similar. They both have their value; the one with limits being more direct, the other more conceptual.
(I'm also harmonizing the structure of Differentiable, Continuously Differentiable, Derivative, Differential.) --barto (talk) 13:29, 6 August 2017 (EDT)
