Am I missing something obvious or does this definition (7) permit 1 (and 0 and the negatives) as prime? Walwb (talk) 13:08, 25 March 2018 (EDT)

It does not,
where $a$ and $b$ are both positive integers less than $p$.
Though easy to miss upon skimreading. Caliburn (talk) 13:21, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
Exactly, as 1 is an integer which cannot be written as a product of positive integers less than 1, it should be prime according to this definition right? Walwb (talk) 13:45, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
Good call -- definition has been corrected. Mistranscribed from the source work. --prime mover (talk) 18:04, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
