Definition talk:Standard Number Field

Such a useful term for algebraists. These should really be mainstream. Standard multiplication, standard addition and standard ordering should follow. --Jshflynn 00:56, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Better call it just "Standard Field". The word "Number" does not add much value; it just creates confusion with (Algebraic) Number Fields. I'm willing to fix every instance. --barto (talk) 11:06, 5 December 2016 (EST)
