Full name: Hemachandra Acharya Sūrī.

In Sanskrit: हेमचन्द्र सूरी.

His birth name was Candradeva.

He took the name Hemachandra later in life: it is variously rendered. Hemchandra and Hemacandra are sometimes seen.
