- 1923: Appointed a full professor at Lund University
- 1924: Called as professor to Stockholm University
- 1924: Became a member of the Royal Physiographic Society in Lund
- 1926: Elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences
- 1927: Became an editor of Acta Mathematica
- 1927: Became director of the Mittag-Leffler Institute
- Died: 11 Jan 1949, Stockholm, Sweden
