- $\dfrac 2 3 \times \dfrac 1 8 = \dfrac 1 {16} + \dfrac 1 {48}$
despite the fact that it is apparent that:
- $\dfrac 2 3 \times \dfrac 1 8 = \dfrac 1 {12}$
