Maybe it's worth adding a pronunciation guide for each Greek letter. Many of the pronunciations are not obvious from the spelling, for example, $\upsilon$ looks like it could be uhpsilon or oopsilon or maybe even yoopsilon, heaven forbid. --GFauxPas (talk) 09:21, 29 November 2016 (EST)

"Linguistic Note", then ... good call. Will need to wait for someone who really knows what they are talking about. For example, I'm convinced that "pi" should really be pronounced "pea" and not "pie" but I can't get any corroboration on that. --prime mover (talk) 12:28, 29 November 2016 (EST)
