Perhaps the page name could be changed to Reals are Dense in Rationals.-- User:Asalmon

Well maybe, but this proof and its title use first-principle language and can be understood at a basic level. Mind, there's no harm in providing such a page and referencing (or even just redirecting to) this one. --prime mover 16:09, 22 December 2011 (CST)

I have included 2 Lemmas to support some of the claims that required justification in the proof, since I did not find Pages proving these results. If I ever find them, or someone knows about their existence I can revert this change and link the page properly. --RaisinBread 07:13, 24 December 2011 (CST)

Good stuff. There are so many straightforward (even trivial) results that get taken for granted, it's easy to gloss over the fact that they really need to be proved. Those were two that we must have missed.
BTW so as you know, in the row of buttons at the top of the edit pane above (you see it when you're in edit mode) the 3rd from right is "Your signature with timestamp". Press on that and it puts two hyphens and 4 tildes which the MediaWiki software interprets (when you save the page) as, yes you guessed, your signature with timestamp. Saves having to type your username in every time, and also gives a link to your user page. --prime mover 03:11, 24 December 2011 (CST)
