Talk:Composition of Regular Representations

I've seen this result quoted and proved for groups. However, the regular representations are defined for semigroups as well (although in that context they can't be guaranteed to be either injections or surjections).

I can see no reason for the results not to hold for semigroups.

Is anyone able to either confirm my thinking or to be able to show that the result does not necessarily hold in all cases?
