# Talk:Limit of Sine of X over X/Geometric Proof

Why does this article use nonstandard notation for open intervals? In one place $(a \,.\,.\,b) \,$ appears, and in another $(a..b) \,$ appears without even any spaces between the dots. Standard notation is $(a,b) = \{ x : a<x<b \}.$ Michael Hardy (talk) 18:00, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
I would remind / inform you that MathJax does not like $...$ tags - they are deprecated. Please use $...$ to delimit your $\LaTeX$ instead.
In defence of the fact that sometimes there are pages with $\left({a..b}\right)$ in them is a shortcoming which we are gradually working on. As we spot them we replace them with $\left({a \,.\,.\, b}\right)$. Thank you for alerting us to this one.
