Talk:P-Product Metric on Real Vector Space is Metric

I don't think there's anything here beyond what's on the parallel page about product metrics. The first proof on this page essentially reduces this one to that one before proving it. I would therefore suggest getting rid of the first proof on the page and just relying on the general form. --Dfeuer (talk) 22:45, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

Why? --abcxyz (talk) 00:53, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
PM is under the impression that someone might be reading a fairly difficult proof about a family of complicated metrics without a really solid understanding of what a metric is. Needless to say, we disagree on this point.--Dfeuer (talk) 01:23, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
I can't understand what you're trying to say. Anyway, I'd personally prefer to hear PM speak for himself. --abcxyz (talk) 02:35, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
