I had a devil of a time finding this page. Suggest redirecting Pythagorean Identity here. --Pelliott (talk) 14:23, 28 January 2019 (EST)

- We've already got Pythagoras's Theorem, to which I have added a link in the "Also see" section to this page. --prime mover (talk) 15:29, 28 January 2019 (EST)

A mathematician searching for the Pythagorean Identity is going to search for "Pythagorean Identity", he is not going to search for "Pythagoras's Theorem" by mistake and find the right answer that way. The Mathematics world has had the Pythagoras's Theorem and Pythagorean Identity for hundreds of years. Every student is expected to know the difference. This site already has separate entries for Euler's Formula and Euler's Identity so there should not be any problem. --Pelliott (talk) 17:23, 28 January 2019 (EST)
