Talk:Upper and Lower Closures are Convex

Ray is currently reserved for tosets, and I personally think it should remain so (there's a geometric connection there). If you disagree, we can change that definition. --Dfeuer (talk) 09:19, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

My bad. I have sources nor much experience on the subject so I won't be enforcing my naive perspective. As you pointed out before there is a need for a name encompassing all four types of closures. I (mistakenly) thought that "ray" was it. --Lord_Farin (talk) 09:23, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
I'm not claiming to be any kind of expert! But the reason for "ray" is that $[0,\to)$, for example, is in fact a geometrical ray. I won't fight tooth and nail over that though. --Dfeuer (talk) 09:26, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
