What does it mean for a page to be "unmaintained"? The message is unclear. Does it apply to every page whose creator has left ProofWiki? I hope not. --barto (talk) (contribs) 08:54, 18 November 2017 (EST)

Strange indeed. I'd think that "unmaintained" would refer to a page in need of constant change, (eg. a Wikipedia article documenting, say, notable business founded this year) not an article whose subject matter (not necessarily content) will remain static except perhaps in some extreme circumstances. Unmaintained is a status between "refactor" and "delete", roughly conveying that 1. this material is too bad to be salvaged; and 2. there is no better material currently covering this so we leave it here for now.
I hope that clarifies it a bit. — Lord_Farin (talk) 17:16, 19 November 2017 (EST)
