- The Dictionary
- $39,051 \times 2^{6001} - 1$
Mistake
- The largest known Sophie Germain prime.
This entry is misplaced in the dictionary.
It comes between:
- $10^{641} \times \paren {10^{640} - 1} \mathop / 9 + 1 \qquad \qquad$ [$1281$ digits]
and:
- $2^{4253} - 1 \qquad \qquad$ [$1281$ digits]
but itself has $1812$ digits, and so should come after $2^{4253} - 1$.
