... probably worth pointing out the obvious that a) this site grew organically into the current documented house-style format that "works", and b) there are many pages by contributors who developed their own style and were in some cases unprepared to amend their work so as to match the house style. Work to clean up the latter is still a work in progress, and in many cases can be identified easily by means of the use of the "tidy" tag, which we slapped as a matter of course into a whole series of pages during one particularly harrowing session. --prime mover (talk) 01:52, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
