Semi-mythical Greek seer and philosopher-poet, from Knossos or Phaistos.
Supposedly slept for $60$ years in a cave, after which time he awoke, made some more-or-less profound philosophical statements, and lived for more than $300$ years.
Famous for what is now known as the Epimenides Paradox.
