Definition
An exterior angle of a transversal is an angle which is not between the two lines cut by a transversal.
In the above figure, the exterior angles with respect to the transversal $EF$ are:
- $\angle AHE$
- $\angle CJF$
- $\angle BHE$
- $\angle DJF$
