Mistake

Further work in his Isagoge ad locus planos et solidos (1679, On the Plane and Solid Locus) foreshadowed the later analytic geometry of Descartes ...

Correction

The work published in $1679$ was posthumous, and was in fact Ad Locos Planos et Solidos Isagoge ("Introduction to Plane and Solid Loci").

The original informally-circulated but not formally published dated from $1636$ or $1637$, on which René Descartes based his own La Géométrie of $1637$.
