In the context of statistics, an array is a display of a set of data, often arranged into whatever order may be appropriate.
Examples
Arbitrary Example $1$
Consider the data $3, 7, 2, 9, 1$.
These can be presented in incrasing order as the array:
- $\set {1, 2, 3, 7, 9}$
