Historical Note on Computer Science
The origin of computer science can be traced back to the design of algorithms by Euclid.
Even further back, the Babylonians employed the techniques of asymptotic complexity and reducibility.
The discipline became of great importance with the advent of the digital computer in the $20$th century.
