Let $\mathcal R \subseteq S \times S$ be a relation in $S$.
$\mathcal R$ is coreflexive if and only if:
- $\mathcal R \subseteq \Delta_S$
where $\Delta_S$ is the diagonal relation.
Coreflexive is pronounced co-reflexive, not core-flexive.
