- Often an angle is regarded as the measure of the rotation involved in moving from one initial axis to another final axis (termed a direction angle).
Correction
The term direction angle is given a significantly different definition in the entry direction angles, which is confirmed by multiple other sources.
It can be presumed that David Nelson meant to say directed angle.
