Definition
A vulgar fraction $q = \dfrac a b$ is irreducible if and only if the numerator $a$ and denominator $b$ are coprime.
Examples
Example: $\tfrac 2 7$
The vulgar fraction $\dfrac 2 7$ is an example of a irreducible fraction.
