Technical Note for Unsigned Stirling Numbers of the First Kind
The $\LaTeX$ code for \(\ds {n \brack k}\) is \ds {n \brack k}
.
The braces around the n \brack k
are important.
The \ds
is needed to create the symbol in its proper house display style.
Note that while it appears that \ds \sqbrk {n \atop k}
should do the same job, it is rendered with a subtle difference:
- $\ds \sqbrk {n \atop k}$
and so is not to be used on $\mathsf{Pr} \infty \mathsf{fWiki}$.
