Definition
The visible hemisphere is the hemisphere of the celestial sphere between the celestial horizon and the zenith.
That is, it is the half of the sky that can be seen from Earth at an arbitrary time.
The other hemisphere of the celestial sphere is hidden from an observer by Earth itself.
