I know this concept only as 'algebraic', which, given the polynomial equation, seems more appropriate and descriptive. The algebraic integers then are the 'algebraic closure' of $\Q$ over $\R$, which to me seems reasonable. --Lord_Farin 03:14, 1 February 2012 (EST)
