  • Born: January 1872
  • 1891: Received Bachelor's degree from Madras Christian College
  • 1893: Returned to Palghat to take a position as Headmaster of high school
  • Began service at Government College at Kumbakonam as lecturer
  • Became mathematics instructor to Srīnivāsa Aiyangār Rāmānujan for one year
  • Joined Presidency College in Madras as a lecturer for 15 years
  • Became Professor of Applied Mathematics
  • Returned to Kumbakonam to become Principal of Government College
  • One of the original members of Indian Mathematical Society
  • Served as Secretary and President of Indian Mathematical Society
  • Died: October 1935
