Linear Regression

Let $X$ and $Y$ be random variables.

Let $\expect {Y \mid x}$ be a linear regression of $Y$ on $X$:

$\expect {Y \mid x_1, x_2} = \alpha + \beta_1 x_1 + \beta_1 x_1$

The parameters of $\expect {Y \mid x_1, x_2}$ are $\alpha$, $\beta_1$ and $\beta_2$.
