The complex number $6 \paren {\cos 240 \degrees + i \sin 240 \degrees}$ can be expressed as:

$6 \paren {\cos 240 \degrees + i \sin 240 \degrees} = 6 \cis 240 \degrees = 6 \cis \dfrac {4 \pi} 3 = 6 e^{4 \pi / 3}$
