Copyright Agreement
All content, except for that on Discusson pages and user home pages, is subject to the CC-by-SA 3.0 licence and the GNU Free Documentation Licence.
Discussion (Talk) Pages
Discussion pages are those pages which exist for the purposes of discussing the content of the pages to which they refer. The content of these pages is less rigorously controlled, and the right of the freedom of speech of users is upheld on such pages.
Talk pages are exempt from the CC-by-SA 3.0 licence and the GNU Free Documentation Licence as their content is considered essentially ephemeral.
This exemption is designed to encourage freedom of discussion on the talk pages, as its users will not be daunted by the prospect of them being released indefinitely on the internet. It also removes the possibility of $\mathsf{Pr} \infty \mathsf{fWiki}$ being legally bound to retain undesirable content.
Hence we retain the possibility for any user to file a reasonable, specific request for (partial or total) hard-deletion of any talk page by the bureaucrats.
User Pages
Content of user pages is considered to be the responsibility of the user to whom they are attributed. Therefore the content is considered to be under the personal ownership of the user in question.
Work In Progress In particular: Specify exactly what the copyright agreement needs to be for these pages. You can help $\mathsf{Pr} \infty \mathsf{fWiki}$ by completing it. To discuss this page in more detail, feel free to use the talk page. When this work has been completed, you may remove this instance of {{WIP}} from the code. |
