First time I've seen this proof. Cool.

We still need to prove that $|\vec{u}|\vec{v}$ and $|\vec{v}|\vec{u}$ have equal length - we need a separate page for that, I think. Also, I wonder whether, having proved this, one can appeal directly to Euclid to get the rest? --Prime.mover 19:39, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Possibly, but if it were me doing it, I'd put it on a on separate page, as that gives us more flexibility of which direction to come at it from. --Prime.mover 21:28, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
