"In the above, the line segments $AF, BD, EA$ are determined to have negative length if they lie outside the line segments $AB, BC, CA$."

(1) Maybe link to a definition of negative length such as Definition:Directed Line Segment.

(2) It is not clear what is mean by "lie outside". Does $AF$ lie outside? My understanding is that the ratio $AF:FB$ is negative because, considered as vectors, $AF$ and $FB$ point in opposite directions, while the other two ratios are positive.

(3) The wikipedia article states that the Converse/Sufficient Condition is not necessarily true for unsigned lengths but I didn't find an explanation for why that might be.--Telliott99 (talk) 10:56, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
