Example of Binomial Coefficient
The number of ways of choosing $3$ objects from a set of $8$ is:
- $\dbinom 8 3 = \dfrac {8 \times 7 \times 6} {3 \times 2 \times 1} = \dfrac {8!} {3! \, 5!} = 56$
