Definition
Let $G$ be a game.
Let $P$ be a player in $G$.
Then $P$ is described as intelligent if and only if $P$ knows everything about $G$ that there is to know, and can use that knowledge to make informed decisions about what move to make.
In game theory, all players are assumed to be intelligent.
