Definition
Let $G$ be a two-person game whose players are identified with the symbols $A$ and $B$.
It is the convention that the second of the players listed (in this case $B$) is distinguished from the other and referred to as the minimising player.

For readily apparent reasons, the minimising player is also referred to as the second player.
