Thus real multiplication is:

Associative on $\R_{> 0}$
Commutative on $\R_{> 0}$
The identity of $\left({\R_{> 0}, \times}\right)$ is $1$
Each element of $\left({\R_{> 0}, \times}\right)$ has an inverse.
