Definition talk:Periodic Function

Left this open to define periodicity for complex functions as well. I hear tell there are interesting little beasts called Jacobians or something like that, which are periodic in two dimensions. I bet if I looked into it nice and hard, I'd find Hamiltonian functions which are periodic in 4 dimensions.
