Candidates for the new name

I'm having a hard time finding a more specific name for this. Ideas: Definition:Separated in Topological Space, Definition:Separated Parts of Topological Space, etc. Not Definition:Separated (Topology), see the also sees why that would only solve half of the problem. --barto (talk) (contribs) 17:52, 12 January 2018 (EST)

Definition:Separated Sets, Definition:Separated Points, and leave "Separated" as a disambig. Then the more specific notions of "separated by neighbourhoods" etc. can be added as disambiguated pages, under the context of topology, and everybody goes home happy.

The advantage of this approach is that Definition:Separated Sets and Definition:Separated Points are backed up by the literature, and "everybody knows" what it means. If we tried to jump through linguistic hoops just in order to make the definition stricter and more specific to being "separated sets in a topological space", it would be difficult for casual readers into the subject to find what they are looking for. --prime mover (talk) 18:34, 12 January 2018 (EST)

As and when we find the need to define such entities, through the direction our work takes us, we can add those further definitions and address the problem of disambiguation then.
