Group Action

$g \wedge x$ is sometimes used for the image of $x$ under the action of $g$, but this usage is non-standard.

The $\LaTeX$ code for \(\wedge\) is \wedge .

The same symbol can be produced using \land, but this is usually used when the symbol is used in the sense of the logical and context.

See Vector Algebra: Deprecated Symbols and Logical Operators for alternative definitions of this symbol.
