I think this page started out as a lemma in an overlong proof of Fundamental Theorem of Finite Abelian Groups, which I still have to finish off tidying up (I keep meaning to do it but it's one of the most tediously boring bit of mathematics ever). In fact I was working towards a proof of it myself at one point, but it involved matrix algebra which hadn't been covered here, so I put that field together, and then never returned to this.

My view is: work it whichever way makes most sense and flows best, I have no strong views on this set of results. --prime mover (talk) 17:58, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

If the pullback really means preimage (which I believe so, from the line $K=\{x\in G:\bar x\in \bar K\}$), then the link Pullback is Subgroup should also be replaced by something like Preimage is Subgroup (but I couldn't find the right page to link to). --Z423x5c6 (talk) 15:13, 16 June 2020 (EDT)

Haven't a clue. This page originally started as a minimally-commented lemma to Fundamental Theorem of Finite Abelian Groups which included a grand total of zero links. I kept meaning to go through and work out how to craft it more professionally, but this was the most achingly tediously boring area of mathematics ever when I did it for my MMath and I never bothered unpacking my festering old course notes. I replaced the text with links to what seemed like the most appropriate pages, mainly by matching up the names, but it was really just too much like hard work.
